Anynoe tried the new summit brand carb?

    These are great carbs , the Fords they are revamped from were great also . QJet is a super good carb also . As stated you need to know how they work to tune them properly . The annular discharge is be far the best addition to any Holley carb . I snatch up every late model Holley I see at swap meets from Ford’s last attempt at a carb . 4180 series , is one of the best . But it’s got to be changed and tuned . Kinda like installing a new set of points and not setting them , you got to tune to work the best .

    The old Ford 4100 was indeed a very good driver carb, smooth. I won a lot of $20 bets (in the 70s lol) with the 390 in my first 66 Tbird, that I could stand a nickle on edge on the air cleaner with it idling, and the nickle wouldn't tip over. I have also epay scrounged some of those 80s Mustang GT 4180 carbs, planning to try them in a 2x4 setup- should be interesting
