I know i can't go to a the local chain auto parts store and ask for a dust cap for a '32 chevy axle with mid 70's GM disc brakes....:(:(:(
My local Napa has been good to me, but a recent change in employees hurt that too. Not sure the employee know what i was talking about when i said 'dust cap' I finally got to dig through the parts book after asking a few times to, but he seemed annoyed that i was there so i just left.
I have an ECI disk brake kit on a stock 32 chevy axle, it uses mid 70's GM disks with a 2 3/32" dust cap. Problem is i need a cap that is deep, approx 1 1/4" or more inside depth. Replacement caps don't fit, nor do they offer sizes....length/depth or any info.
Anyone know dust caps that could help?

Had the same problem with my 37 chevy coupe with the ECI kit . Ended up machining off the excess threads and using the correct 70s camaro dust caps. The excess threads are of no use regardless. If you just get rid of the large taper on the end of the spindle it should solve the problem. I just realized that I also redrilled the cotter pin hole to correctly center the pin in the castle nut.

Why doesn't ECI's kit come with them? Or at least tell you what PN to order?

Thinner castle nut, relocate the hole and shorten the spindle threads. I've got a domed style set which are right at 1 " and I think they are just slightly deeper than the flat style. You gotta do, what you gotta do.
