Sadly I just put my hot rod plymouth 218 motor in the classifieds. Still hanging on to the airflow body for now but I'll be unloading a 51 plymouth frame if anyone needs a good one.

  9. Mine's gettin' close...gotta get it dropped, get some wide whites and either some sombreros or maybe some lancers and waiting for the desoto hood scoop ornament, taillight housings and bumpers to get back from chrome (also waiting for the money to pay for it to magically appear)

Here's a 1949 Coronet that my son and I put together last summer. It has a flat six with 85,000 original miles on it, shaved door handles and chrome. lowered 3 inches, Caddy taillights, skirts with emblems from a 55. a visor from a late 40s Nash, tinted glass and is painted in black lacquer primer with red metal flake. Total cost to build including pice of car-$2150

This is a friends 53. I started on a 35 Plymouth coupe a couple of years ago. Then I latched onto a 50 Wayfarer, sold it to do a 53 Dodge panel truck. Sold the panel and the coupe body(still have the front sheetmetal though) and have found another Wayfarer. I'm also working on getting a 36 Dodge pickup barn find. I never seem to get one done though. Somebody always wants it more than I do.

That adds new meaning to radical. Should be able to make all the glass from the old windshield!

Let me know what you think. Thanks
