Im currently working on a 54' Belvedere. It has a first gen. Camaro Clip up front and will have a Ford 9" Versailles rear end out back. The motor setup is going to consist of a small block 360 with X heads and a few tricks up my sleeve. Gotta love those MOPARS.

I'm trying to decide what to do with this 51 Ply. They didn't make trucks in 51! I have the slant 6 motor built for it but can't decide what to do with the look. The conversion was done in 1956.

I have been building mopar rods since 1978, I have a few projects going together right now.
    the first one is a 40 dodge pu(squattie) on a dodge D50 chassis with a 318/904 trans.
the next is a 35 dodge COE(dodge never made one so I am) it will be a car hauler with a dodge turbo diesel in it.
and the next one is a 42 dodge COE that I chopped 3 1/2" and sectioned 4" , it will have a supercharged 440/727 in it.

also check out the link below for more pics, Ron...

  14. Man, you did a beautiful job, nice car...it's inspiring. I've got a '53 Windsor in the back of the garage I've had for 25 years. Went through an insanity stage when I was going to restore it but all the chromed stuff from front to rear was totally destroyed when the plater in NC burned down. No one wanted to buy it so I stored it in the back of the garage, bought a Stude and swapped in a sbc350. Your Mopar is inspiring, have thought about selling the Stude and doing the Chrysler as a dechromed suede with a drivetrain transplant.THANKS for the inspiration, ALL of you HAMBers!!

Here's a '33 stocker on the salt. Belongs to Earl Edgerton's buddy, and the tow car for Earls '32 Chrysler race car. According to the owner, one of 600 made in '33.

Man, this post was dredged up from the bottom...

Here's my car on the 4th, nearly complete except upholstery. I've put about 2000 miles on the hopped up flathead 6 this summer as my daily driver. No issues with the motor other than a problematic re-man fuel pump that kept me from driving to the salt for speed week....

Here's some driving clips for grins

40 Plymouth Business Coupe. Been driving it since 1988, 16 yrs old (not very much in recent years, but I still get it out every once in a while).
Hopped up flat six with Fenton head, intake and cast iron headers. stock 3 spd and 8 3/4 rear w/ 3.55 gears. I've put a ton of miles on this car.

I have a '39 Dodge D11, 2dr sedan, solid original driver. I hope to start converting to rod status as I can. Hoping to find a way to convert original front suspension to disc brakes, if I can find such a critter! I want Mopar power under the hood. Sure would be easier and cheaper to go GM, but the stubborn parts of me say no! Don't get me wrong, to each his own. Don't knock mine and I won't knock yours!:)

I think mines the newest one. 66 Chrysler 300 Convertible.

Gunna bondo and bag it sometime soon. I just need to figure out how to bag the front, being torsion bars and all (and NOT redoing the front end). :D

    Not mine...'34 5-window

My buddy takes it out a few times a year to make sure it still works...drives it like it is going to blow up on him:rolleyes:

331 with 440 waterpump and 340 oil pump - yeh he machined adaptors for the pump and a new shaft for the o.p....he didn't want to put the BBC distributor/waterpump on. It's got a Muncie from a Vette. Edmunds Intake/ with a couple of Duece's and Edmunds Cleaners.

Preety sweet rig....wish he would abuse it a little more..... have some fun with it.:)

We also have a '51 Plymouth Business Coupe in the Shop getting "The Royal Treatment" - Nova Clip, SBC/Auto, Nova Rear etc, etc.
