I got the FEBRUARY 06 STREET RODDER today! Just three days after geting the JANUARY 06 issue!?! Reminds me of waiting for a city bus that's an hour late and then two of them come along running bumper to bumper like a train. But it's always the "distributor's" fault, who in turn says it's the Post Office's fault, who's on;y comment is "it wasn't first class mail!" so that means they don't have to give a shit?.... (I hate the holidays... Come on January 2nd!)
So beside your magazine delivery schedule (which we are ALWAYS well aware of!) anything else we should know about? Have you been "regular"? Seen any good movies? Caught up with old friends like RF? I buy my magazines off the stand because I'm crazy anal about wrinkles. I don't keep track of the exact date and hour of the last purchase so I am just pleasantly surprised when the new ones come out. Been buying Street Rodder and Hot Rod off the rack since '74 religeoulsly and R&C since it was quarterly in the mid-seventies (issues 1-12).
I thought since I had posted what hadn't shown up yet, I'd report back something that it had come. I don't think I know any RF. Is the one that posts here the same one some people say is a nice guy? Why are you always so interested in my ass? Saw Billy Gibbons act the role of a Dad on "Bones" TV show, Tuesday night. He even took his sunglasses off! Ever since I called about, I think it was the SEPTEMBER, R & C, that is still AWOL, the voice on the phone said they are "late" if they don't show up by the 11th of the month and they didn't have any replacements left because I called too late I mark the calender when they do show up because my old memory has enough to deal with, like Wednesday is trash day... If I went to the store to buy them instead of paying 86¢ an issue like the subscription to HOTROD is, I probably wouldn't, because they flat ain't worth a $6 burger! (No editor pun intended) ....crazy anal about wrinkles...Huh? I wouldn't know first hand, but I heard Preperation H does something to wrinkles
