Once you tranfer a plate or ***le to whatever you just bought you'll get the junk mail warrantee ****. At least I do. I just re-registered a 90 and a 97 Ski-Doo snowmobile last year. I got 1 for the 90 (included "differential" coverage:eek:) and the ******** "WARNING...YOUR FACTORY WARRANTEE HAS EXPIRED...ACT NOW! on the 97. Lately been getting the warnings for the H3...it never was covered.

Someone ought to scan one for their Model A when they get it and post it! Funny ****.

My wife really wanted this Volvo SUV, and what the hell - they're safe. I knew they had questionable ******s, so I ponied up for the extended warranty. We both got sick of the SUV, traded it in, and I was so happy because I payed extra for the "refundable" warranty. I had the warranty for less than a year, and the 6-8 weeks it would take for my refund is now in it's 10 month now. Never again. Or just don't buy anything you thing will need an extended warranty.

Ever seen the Simpsons where Homer wants Moe to put a crayon back into his brain to make him stupid again? After Moe puts it in, Homer is still not dumb enough, so he shoves the crayon in further.

Homer - "Extended warranty - how can I go wrong!!!"

    Dumb enough now!

  3. I think the bottom line on it is that you have to be careful what or who you buy from.

The Fed actually has some good info out on them including companies that are in lawsuits etc. it would be worth doing a search on.

Like I said we have had good luck with ours.
