Predator is a variable venturi carb.
Fish has no venturi at all but (sort of) a variable main metering.

What the Predator does with Air, does the Fish with fuel.

The fuel metering is handled by progressive clearance between the end of the arm (where the fuel pickup is located) and the houseing as the butterfly is opened or closed. More space more fuel, less space less fuel. Very simple, I think.

hey new guy, read the rules. there's a place to put these things for sale and bringing up an old thread to promote your wares is not one of them. keep shit like that up and you won't like it much around here...

I too talked to Mike Brown a year and a half ago, he lives around the Springfield, MO area and has quite few other projects he's doing including a fitness/health program. He said they quit producing the carbs in about 86-87 and a little in 88. He said that when fuel injec tion started to become a factory thing on most cars/trucks, the demand fell off to the point where it wasn'r cost effective anymore. I too bought a M-2 quite a few years ago at the Pamona Swapmeet and plan on trying it on my 57 F100 once I get it dialed in with the the yblock thats going to be in it. I know of some brothers that live in MS area, Robin and David Church. They drag raced a 55 T-bird yblock powered with 3x2 Fish carbs on with some very impressive results. The book that the company put out years ago on preping your car before installing the Fish carb is very informative and is a common sense kind of guide to proper tuning. I'd like to see Mike Brown produce them again.

These things look and sound pretty cool, I'm building a 305cube ford six i was going to make a custom multicarb setup for, these might be cool on it, how many CFMs are these about does anyone know?

Reviving an old post as I was just trying to ID a carb I got with a project car that had been kicking around since the 70's.
Thought it was a White Eagle, but found out that it is a Fish Carburerator on a White Eagle adapter plate for a four barrel application.
    Any one running these anymore?

in 66 we put one on a 327 in a 55 Chevy and it went like hell. my shop teacher had one, original with stock certificate and all the adapters and case. Love to have one but the repops are real pricey$$$$

I have a few Fish carbs including a sidedraft used on tractors. Most intriguing of all are the Reece Fish carbs built under licence by the late Leonard Reece of Carshalton Beeches in the U.K. These have a swiveling fuel bowl so you can run either as a sidedraft or as a downdraft simply by rotating the bowl. I am thinking about using a pair of these on a Daimler hemi....
