Projects Anyone ever use a thunderbird hoodscoop on 62-63 falcon hood?

    This has to be done before ? Just bought an original 61-63 thunderbird scoop on ebay and would like to replace my non functional scoop on my falcon. Looks like it's close from pics but it may be wider? Just a thought... guess we will see when it comes in!

    Just a guess, but I bet it is much wider to be in proportion with the wide Bird hood.

    Now you need to find a junked T Bird and cut the center out of the hood and graft it on the Falcon. Most folks would never notice that it's wider.

  8. It's a subtle change but if it adds that special touch and floats your boat, you should do it.

    Thank you guys..much apreciated! Love doing small stuff that people probably will never notice. Just made a rear roll pan and possibly will run a 69 Camaro rear bumper
