Someone sent a pic of a title of a car for sale and I just wanted to verify if the red flags I think I'm seeing are correct . All the convertible vehicles I've ever owned have always had CV as the abbreviation for the body type on a real convertible vehicle. This car has CN as the abbreviation and below the VIN# has the word conversion.

Is this title proof that the car is not a real convertible and in fact a conversion ?
    Look forward to your replies

As far as I know, Ohio only inspects the title to vin on out of state cars. As long as everything matches up your good. CN vs CV no idea, never owned a 'vert.

As far as legal questions - contact your States Motor Vehicle Department for that states correct answer.
