Anyone go to NSRA York?

i'll be driving around friday night/saturday afternoon/evening, (I live about 10 minutes away)

fyi, it is expensive.....BUT............

There is a free "Cruise Inn" in Shrewsburg Market (south of York just off I-83 about 10 miles thurday afternoon/evening) many of the out of town street rodders go, i've seen 700 cars there before (always have DJ and plenty of Amish type food shops)

Friday night if you cruise Hwy 30 in York, you will see ton of cars, also go to the Holiday Inn at the corner of hwy 74 and rt. 30 behind West Manchester Mall (it's the official check-inn location for many clubs) many, many cars can be see.......... free

a must do is the free Hwy 30 (Loucks rd.) route 74 (carlisle ave.) saturday afternoon/evening cruise. it's like a parade of cars, some from the show (some not, like me). Locals set up close to a thousand lawn chairs on the sides of road to watch the cars.. it's pretty cool

also, there is an organized NSRA drive through down town York. Market st. etc..... some time

last note: cops will be out, they don't stop cars that have questionable tags/registration etc.... but if someones acting a fool, they will stop you.

 

Larry, you should stop by my place in Manchester to visit your old car.... ********... etc....

don't know, not sure if i'll be going inside gate or not myself,

but i could suggest a couple meet and greet places outside on Highway 30, or a Diner or a bar/grill someplace local

Heading out on Thursday evening. I haven't been to York in a long time. My dad used to take his Model A there back in the late '80's/early '90s.

I like the idea of an evening get together outside of the fairgrounds.

 

I echo the question. I will be alone with a spare p*** arriving Friday before noon. Staying over Friday night. Like to cruise a little.........

 

Will be there Friday, A day at York is alot more fun than a day at work !

 

I will frequent the beer garden on Friday..........

Well,the meet & greet at the beer garden was a bust
On Friday,besides my self,only 3 people showed--Just Gary,Homadehardtop57,and Pa comet
