Event Coverage Anyone going to Chickasha this weekend??????

I'll be heading up Friday morning and spending the day, anyone else going?

How far from Springfield is it? I told the wife we are heading south in the HotRod on Sat. I have a twin brother that lives in Springfield I haven't seen in 4 months or so. Keith

Chickasha is about 2hours 20 minutes from tulsa.... think. it's 3.5 hours from Muskogee!

 

I'll be there with a pickup load of Cadillac and Model A parts on Friday. Look me up.

planning on being there both friday & saturday looking for bargins. it doesn't sound like they have had that much rain yet

 

Chickasha Swap Meet - Hey, we goin! Gone for years and always have a good time. It's only about an hour from here. Weather man says clear and in low 70's last time I looked. Could be fun to get togeather with other HAMBers down there. Somene needs to work on a HAMBer booth maby? With scantly clad "public ralations" ladies to register new members, etc. Cheap or even free HAMBer beer and eats for members? They do it in Vegas right?

 

Is there anyone going from around the PA, OH, area or similarly close?
I'm looking for a 1926-27 (maybe '28?) Essex frame or at least the frame rails. In real nice condition, no mangled pieces. Was wondering if there was anyone going that would be willing to keep an eye open for that and could truck it back so I could pick it up off of them?

I have a possible line on an old sprint car frame made up of a Model T and Essex frame, but I'm still waiting to hear back from the fellow about it, if its available so I thought I'd post this in the meantime?

I'll be out there Fri. sportin' the Ratty Bastards colors. I talked to a friend at work yesterday. I asked him if he was going to Chickasha? He said "yeah, but I think it's going to be raining." I told him "it wouldn't be Chickasha if you didn't ruin a pair of boots."

 

I will be there tomorrow after I get finished with my human anatomy quiz.
