My 2005 catalog shows it as a Pontiac cam, 301-455, 1956-'77. Hydraulic 230-230 @.050" 286-286 advertised .480"-.480" lift 110 "deg. lobe cen" <as printed, not sure if they mean lobe separation?
They lost out to Summit and Jegs...and mostly the internet.....bummer the PAW warehouse was really close to me...
Loved that warehouse. Handed them a list with part #'s and 15 minutes later a cart full of speed parts to build an engine..
and they'll be gone SOON ,as the manufactures Are selling to the public and make oh SO much more PROFIT by CUTTING out the MIDDLEMAN.
I know what you mean. Have a SBC flat tappet that I'll probably never use because of that. Only has the letter P stamped on the back.
