That's a local car built by Sachse Rod shop outside Dallas. It wouldn't surprise me if they made those in house. TZ
Thanks for the info, I think if I go this route i might have to come up with a less expensive alternative than the $175 and thats minus the leather straps..friggin bungie cords are lookin alright, right about now!
The set comes with brass rivets, and feature solid brass buckles, and flip-over lever that make for easy opening in case you're lifting off the hood top to access those Winfields or Strombergs. 1/8" thick leather is not included in kit (leather belts could be used). Yipes - 175 and no leather!!
We got a local "Country Store" that stocks Equine supplies. Some of which look VeRy similar to what I see there. I'm no horseman but I also recently found a team harness on an old farm which gave me a similar idea. No springs or quick release stuff, but authentic! Funny how the old farmers were so innovative with available supplies and things they were familiar with. There's a hay wagon sittin out backa that farm. It's good ole fashioned buckboard construction, and runnin on 20's AA wheels adapted to the wooden axles. Hey Dennis, did you ever get my emails?
