Anyone had a engine and trans shipped to them?

    there are different rates if its a "core" , I am not sure if all shippers use a rate system , but if they do the wrong rate can cost 2-3 times as much for the same shipment

    Had a Cadillac 500 and a turbo 400 shipped by Uship.com from Chicago to Kodak Tn for $150.00. Did not need a pallet or anything like that. Just a motor and trans in the back of a guys truck. Made it here just fine.

    Used engine shipping.com to ship a 50's chrysler poly motor and 4 speed tranny from Iowa to South carolina for $250. Just strapped the motor/tranny on a pallet. They even had Lift gates on both ends for loading.

    going back to my post in no.27 Fastnall delivered the engine to Chandler Arizona within time and without damage - I'm happy.
    Now gotta get it to NZ before Christmas MMMM
