Mine, too. Not the style you asked for, but it works for me (thanks to Larry Mitchell, who built it).
Surfmonkey: I like your car. Here is my favourite one and the another one, not so favourate but pretty cool. Actually I have an image file on my laptop named T_Roadsters...
I don't have any pictures here at work but, if you use the search function you will find the entire build in two series, the first was a year and a half ago when it was all roughed together. and the second was a few months ago when it was blown apart and made a driver. use key word modified and thread started by 60's Style
Thanks for the search directions. That is a great looking little car. Could have come right out of a 1961 issue of Rod & Custom. 60's Style fer sure! Rusty.
I think that Larry, the builder and previous owner, knew that a car of this style should have a banger or a flathead in it, but he had -- and used -- a 350 Chev. I think he concocted this exhaust system to disguise it a bit. Block hugger headers (inside the hood), one headpipe crosses over under the trans to join the other, through one big Flowmaster and out the big single tailpipe. With a gear drive, light flywheel and lumpy cam, it sounds pretty serious. Nobody would be fooled into thinking it's a four, but it certainly doesn't sound like the neighbor kid's Camaro either.
Mine, the picture is from when I bought it from spooky. It still looks pretty much the same but I have a whole lot more pieces for it. Dawg
Check out page 2 of this thread for photos fo the Osgood T (no it doesn't have a top, but it is the baddest T I've ever seen, period.): http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56825&page=1&highlight=osgood
SORRY nightfire. that's no deuce rails. it's a model A frame if I ever saw one. look back on the post and you'll see what a deuce frame looks like. I posted a black roadster with burgundy interior. that's a deuce(1932 Ford) frame. ... and your uncles body(the car that is) is a coupe with the roof chopped off, no roadster, but you most likely knew that. Paul.
