man I was just talking about slicks last night with bleed... I love the Radir skinny white wall slicks but they're too short- make them taller and I'll buy a pair, but for now I'm gonna have to run hursts cuzz the back end of my roadster would be sitting in tha' dirt---- Tuck
I am interested in the 8.20x15s also. But, I don't want to wait for months. Are they ready to ship now? If I ordered today, when could I expect delivery to KCMO area?
You obviously have never seen the Radir wheels shop. It's like a Hemi farm up there. If anyone buying a set is within reasonable driving distance, pick the tires up in person, the place is awesome. I have a set of 8.20-15s on 15x10 tri-ribs. The wheels are bar-none, the best made wheels I have ever seen, and the tires obviously already have a great rep. Jason, Cory, I think the market is big enough for both of you. It sounds like neither one of you can keep up with demand.
Here's my new Hursts - installed on my '62 Dart... (28 3/4"x8.5"x15 White Walls) Took Cody exactly 5 days to get them to me - half way accross the country. They look beautiful and run out great. 7.5oz to balance one and 4.25 oz to balance the other - not too bad for the cheats I remember from 25 years ago. They stick pretty good when I really got 'em hot - Just ran 11.90 @ 118.7mph driving in off the street through the muffs and tailpipes! Freaked the dudes out at the strip, man - the "tuner" geeks didn't know what to think and the old guys just folded their arms and shook their heads yes in approval. I'm very pleased. Thanks Cody
80% of the "gators" you see along the road are a result of low air pressure which damages the casing and overheats the tire. Todays "drivers' almost never bump their tires or put a gauge to them. If you see a cap without any casing laying alongside the road, THAT is a cap that failed...and there are darn few. That being said, I have a pair of Radirs and I love 'em...but I have 14 retreads on my big truck...some of which have over 350,000 miles on 'em.
I got the 10's on 9" rims on my avatar car. Even the 10's need a narrower rim for the middle of the tread to contact the road correctly, but they look fine. So, I can't imagine the 8.20's on an 8" rim. HOWEVER, i drove 500 miles round trip to Paso last year nice and smooth, and a half bazillion BS miles since. Thumbs up. PS-If ever considering the Firestone "cheaters" from Coker....DON'T
What size would you guys reccomend sticking under my 64 cutlass? looking for a nice tall tire nothing to massive. Would a 10" rim fit under there?
Me, I'm getting a pair tomorrow, coming down from New Jersey to the TRR. I'm gonna put 'em on the Packford and see if I can't get her into the 12s......ha, ha. Glenn, when are you going to the TRR?
Nads....I'll be there Saturday morning with Jennifer.... find out for me if they have more sets to sell there?
I have a set of the 10 inchers. Got em on 10 inch wheels. I love them but I dont really need them. I mean, my car isnt a race car so I just have them for looks. Wanna buy em?
As I said before, I have 10.00 Radirs on 10 inch ETIII wheels. Now that I have put some miles on them I can say that I am happy with them and would use them again. But like Groucho suggested, if I had it to do over again, I would have used a narrower wheel.
Hey Max Age, that isn a real sano 62 MoPar. I love YOU RIDE MAN !! Whats in it...tell me its a 413 or 426 Xram? Rat
