If I posted a picture of my 1969 Suburban it would just get deleted.

I don’t care about tire date codes? It is wheels that were not offered in 1965 and before that are not allowed here

if 65 and older traditional hot rodding doesn't make sense to you, then what in the hell drew you in here???. and I am not just directing this at you, it is everyone that had their truck pictures deleted here that are long time members that are supposed to know what this place is about...

65 and older makes sense...and all the parts from that era...other wise it's re production traditional, you know... just pre tend... a true traditional in my book would be restored to original parts or NOS... but thats just me..

I have been here for 20 + years under two different names (forgot the password on the 1st one).
Up until about 5 years ago, modern wheels and frame swaps were allowed. There were a lot of tech posts on doing the frame clips, and such. This site used to be the best information source for all things hot rod, then suddenly it changed. The owner has the power, and the right to do so.

We hang around because we have many friends that are still here, and there is still a lot of stuff that interests us.

Thankfully Ryan has presented us with an option to post stuff in the "Off Topic" section, and some of us love it over there. But there is still a lot of stuff on the "main" section that is of interest to many of us. When an old guy swaps back and forth from the "off topic" section to the "main" section, we forget which part we are on and often automatically simply respond to a thread.

I can assure you that I am not intentionally posting pictures of my off topic wheels to make you mad, but the fact is, there are no wheels that are not off topic that fit my truck. The strange part is sometimes the same picture lives on without issue, but other times it gets axed.

I see off topic wheels that are still posted, but I guess they are OK because they are not on my truck?

the rules were “tightened up” 12 years ago in 2013 . I whack every modern wheel I see on everyone’s pictures. If some get missed then I didn’t see them or they didn’t get reported. It really gets old going over this again and again

My ‘34. Second owner. My mom’s first cousin bought it new in ‘35 in Healdsburg, CA. It was a ranch truck all its life. I bought it from my cousin for a buck. IMG_2033.jpeg IMG_1728.jpeg IMG_1451.jpeg

As much as I am a true fan of all things IHC ( International ), I saw this great rig at the good guys car show last year, the colors really caught my eye as well, I have no idea of what the name of the colors actually are!
    Thanks from Dennis.

  30. Late replying, but all 3 of my Utes are RHD. All are from AU, I imported both the 37 and 52 Chevys, the 37 Ford was already in US and I bought it here.
