About half! I didn’t measure just took out what looked good I would go a little more next time. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I have 2 of those and they're not built yet... Was thinking about combining parts from the Exterminator Dragster for my first one....
old hermit how are you doing. I'm an old member of LSM and I've been trying to get back onto there site but haven't had any luck. do you know anything about it. I started getting back into my modeling and I need some parts I need a bbc eng with the heads, bbc early style Hilborn fi manifold, cal custom bbc valve covers, bbc Hilborn timing cover, turbo 400 trans. plus maybe a name who I can get in touch with for further 1/8 scale parts and pieces. also the Willys pu. and coupe body I think you were referring too in your post I believe I have. Robert Hayes from LSM cast them for me along time ago. anyway any help on those parts please let me know. Thanks Mike (speedbump21)
NICE rendition of the Neal East '32, Dan! Most builders go all out trying to build something too 'far out'. Your style (and restraint) are appreciated. I did a 1/25 exact scale of my '55 F100, some came and asked, "When're ya gonna finish it?" I countered, "The 1:1 or the model of it?"
Latest and greatest lights I offer in 1/8th scale. Stock size 32 ford headlights. Best way to get ahold of me is through email. cheby33@gmail.com
Just finished this 1/8 scale Mysterion. Started it in 2001 but quickly found i didn't know enough details about the car to do it justice. Built a 1:1 car finished in 2017 so this year got serious about the model and finished it.
Well done! I have done some 1/8 scale for competition years ago, and I can appreciate all the scratch built parts it takes to achieve what you have done...
Now that is outstanding. Great dedication to building a 1/8 scale by first building the 1/1! Usually it's the other way around I would think?..
No build log. Will be giving a presentation @ the GSL in Salt Lake in May and will go thru a lot of the build details there. The frame is metal including the front end. Most of the rest is plastic; fiberglass body and nose, bunch of resin parts - engines, trannys, wheels. A few kit parts, mostly Lindberg Big Rod, carbs, rear ends, engine pulleys, distributors.
Speedbump21: LSM is still there but it's dead. Unfortunately Bob Hayes chased everyone away. Sadly Bob passed away a couple of months ago. I have many 1/8th scale parts that I produce. You should come check out my Facebook page HOTRODZRUS SCALE MODEL CARS. I currently make 12 1/8th scale bodies. I'm working on a way better 5 window coupe than what's currently available. Look me up on Facebook. Jim Pelosi
