My buddy sighted this old Grill hanging out of the back of a box truck in a s**** yard not far from us. He tried to get a closer look but the s**** yard guy wouldn’t let him, said it’s not for sale.
May have to do a midnight raid.

Too big to be a Ford, and yet somehow familiar.

Not much different than the junk yard guy raiding your hot rod grill at midnight. Then, he'd have two.. Or, maybe just have his Rottie bite you during daylight hours when the Urgent Care is open? Not For Sale seems pretty clear.

What’s a Henway? Norm’s sure weighed more than 2 pounds. Not sure about the Feetlebobbin though.

My buddy is going to try to get in contact with the owner
It will go to the crusher, that’s what they do.

dealing with the s**** yard guy is like trying to have a conversation with a junkyard dog.

My brain sez orphan truck. Was thinking mack Jr perhaps, early? 33-4. We're seeing the surround but it could be on a painted shell. I was thinking also Terraplane or even 33 Pontiac because of the center bar, but shot blanks on that search too.

  14. $25 and it's yours. No wait, $25 to go out back and have look. The junkyard guy knows his stuff, he saw a photo from Pebble Beach once.. He's gonna say 1935 Delahaye.

That looks closer than anything I could find. I'd bring a motion on that.

Well if I was closer and knew where it was I could take my telescope and get a very up close look at it from across the street :p

Whatever it is you should get it. Just hang it on the wall until you have something to put it on

I'm no stranger to having items stolen out of my garage; fortunately, no one ever stole my sense of humor.

Yeah, I'm sure that if he were really going to steal it, he'd announce it to the world. Makes the cops' job much easier.

My thoughts as well, I should have kept on reading then I would have seen your picture. "Two Great minds that think alike" To bad that sweet old truck is rusting away right before our eyes...
