1952-59 Ford Anyone in Aberdeen,Wa

That is willing to check out a 57 ford for me? Ad says some rust and these cars have several common rust areas. And ''some rust'' means different things to everyone. Anyway would appreciate having someone taking a look and saving me a 5-6 hour road trip if its a goner. PM me if available.

If it's the blue two door post I saw in the ads, it doesn't look too bad. Without a doubt, you know more about these cars than I do so you would know best where to look for rust. Have you talked to the guy selling it?
It looks like it's worth a look.

 

Jeff, tried that and found nobody close am sure someone is close by and can check it out but am guessing less than half this groups members are signed in to the list.

Bomb, its the blue one alright, have talked to the owner, its quite tempting to go up there with a trailer but then would probably talk myself into it just to make the trip worthwhile even if it wasn't. And really don't want to make 2 trips.

 

I know what you're saying Zapato. I made that mistake once many years ago. I made a trip out to Nevada and came home with something I ended up regretting. At least I made it back without any problems as I was actually able to drive it all the way home myself.
