Has anyone recently had a 68A Texas Verification of VIN completed lately? I am in Chambers County and looking for a contact of someone who can come out and do it.
Just went through a bunch a crap here in west Texas on a 76 F100, was told I'd have to trailer it 230 miles to Odessa to have the State Vehicle Theft Task Force inspect serial numbers on frame and block, even though I have a notorized bill of sale and have owned the truck for years. New owner and I gave up, and she titled it out of state. Zero co-operation or assistance from local or state DMV. Let us know how you do on this.
