Anyone in Virginia?? Title question!

I bought a 1953 buick. It had the registration in the glove box from 1974. It has the previous title number, owner, and info on it. How hard is it to file for a title in Va.? If it's anything like NC, I can forget it, but I guess it don't hurt to ask.

 

No title for it. But sure do need one!! It's not stolen, but if you tell that to DMV in NC, they just laugh..

Virginia has a procedure in place to retitle older cars-trucks. The car will have to be in Va to have the ID # verified.

Save yourself some time and money and just buy a title for the car online or at a swapmeet.
