Well it's been a wile since I made the Kemah sat night. It was a good showing. Saw a real cool model T 1 ton. And some old 20/30's big car.

I know there nice and I'm a lot more laxed on the standard HAMB rule but there needs to be a side section for all the car younger 2000. The bolt on stuff is real cool but my 5 yr olds even walk past them.

Depends on if its breakfast or lunch

  6. I'm aiming to be there...will be giving a pregame pep-talk to our High School football team before the big game vs. the Woodlands Saturday - waiting to hear what time I'll be needed.

Otherwise I'm good to go...looking forward to the visit with y'all!

I'll make the trip. None of my cars are running so I'll ride my Harley.

  13. I know this is last minute but, I found out today that the Houston Roadsters breakfast is this Saturday then they are heading over to a special viewing of Bill Lindig's collection in West Houston. If you guys think this is something you want to do and push the HAMB breakfast out a week might be cool. Mr. Lindig has some nice cars including the AMBR winner from a couple of years ago. 15. I was thinking so except for the show-n-tell. Not sure how long that will take. I would kind of like to see these cars I will never be able to afford. :)

Gonna try to do both. If anyone else has the same plans, let me know and we can cruise to the HAMB meet together. I will be the guy in the 55 Buick.

Had a great time, guys. Glad I made it out. No camera this time, sorry. Hwy 6 was a nice drive going home. Once everyone got out of my way.:D

  24. Ditto. Hated to leave in a hurry but needed to get back to Katy to give our Tigers a pep-talk before the game.

Looking forward to next month! Fred, I'll bring that radiator shell next time...totally forgot today.

No worries, man. I'd forgotten about it. I'm collecting parts for a '27, so it might get test fitted and put in storage.

Great Saturday Morning get together, good food and a great bunch of HAMBer's. Lets get something rolling for next month, maybe on the north side, there's a place called Victor's Delicatessen & Restaurant, 4710 Fm 1960 Rd W Houston, TX 77069. Menu looks good for breakfast stuff, they have a 4 out of 5 Stars. Just throwing something out there.

Victor's is great. Big portions and true deli style. Parking is behind with a narrow driveway down the side of the building. A lot of locals eat breakfast there on Saturday mornings.

  28. Dang, that's almost on my side of town. i could drive that far without leaving home at dawn, count me in.

So here a couple of Oct dates, Sat the 19 or 26th, the 5th is the Day of the Drags at Temple Tx. Bob and I will be there so the 5th is out for us. Let shoot for the 19th or the 26th. I know other events are happening so throw out your best Saturday date to show and we will go from there.

Looks like everyone is busy, or is it just too early to plan next month?
