Here's a couple shots of our 59 Larson Falls Flyer, with 58 V-4 Johnson. Tail lights light up and illluminate the glow poles. Was an outstanding stock racing boat in its day. . .still pretty fast.

I was just thinking how that little boat must go like stink with that new four stroke clamped to it.

A heat gun should've long taken care of that violation, though.

Bringing up an old post, cause I got the fever. EDIT....funny, this thing came up on it's own. I didn't even see it.

    I have a question:

I don't know squat about boats, how can you hop up a boat?
Most of the old ones have 40 hp and down. Would the hull take it if you throw a bigger motor on them?

Most like BellBoys and Skagits will take a bigger outboard, other also depending on length and how thick the transom is. You do have to go to a better steering system other than the clothes line/cable type ................
Or you can always double your outboards!

This was my dad's project that never quite got off the ground and I do not have the skillset to finish it myself. Message me for more information and pictures

Not a boat but this followed me home today. Scott-Atwater 10HP twin cylinder. 1957 by the model number. Now it has me looking at vintage little hydroplane kits! I really need to sell it before I get hooked on another expensive hobby. lol

No fins, but one of my old boats that we restored....a 1966 Corsair SK...outboard hot rod drag ski boat of the 60's

One pic pulled by my old daily driver Model A in background of camping pic,

Second by my old 34 Dodge daily driver

Third was a 427 Chev powered V-drive SK slightly newer model

  16. Thats a neat ol boat, what year is it? Wonder if the 427 Chev that is in my old flat bottom V-drive boat would work in there? lol

I have had this boat for years now, but I have never found out what it is. It seemes to be a mix of a Glastron Fireflight, a RedFish Shark, and a Lonestar. If anybody knows what it may be, I am at Scollibud@aol.com. Her name is Truly Gone Fishing. She is prob a 59-61. The main difference from all the other finned boats is this one has boxed fins, on the top, not rounded. Thanks for any replys.. Scott in CO
