Anyone know about a Warrior 9" center section?

Got one of these, brand new. Supposed to be a copy of the or WAR casting, but in a nodular iron material. I have seen them around for sale on dirt track sites (see example below). Anyone have experience with them?

It is a heavy ****er, a hair under 30# bare, except for the caps and adjusters.

 

Friend of mine ran a WAR casting in his super gas mustang.Dam thing blew up ,came through the floor with the yoke attached spinning all over the inside of the car denting his seat .Close call ,he got rid of the car after that.He said Mark Williams told him you will never break it,LOL.

 

A war case was not a good idea when it comes to drag racing. Ok for a hot rod.They were made from poor iron and can`t stand up to a pounding. I have 2 war cases.Most last 50`s early 60 Fords had them.
