I dont think they are Rare rare like the x-1 (xross ram) models & etc but still a good score depending on what you paid for it esp with all the carbs...
I had the same intake about 6 years ago, sold it to a friend who hooked me up with the 32 body.. Anyway, i was 'told' by someone it was produced in the mid to late 60's and at the time i sold just the intake for 350. Not sure if that help's or confuses.. As of now, i'd rather have that one than an Offy. I've had both new and original Offy 6x2 intake's and there's not much difference in them, at least the one's i had. The Edelbrock's have a nice, vintage look to them.. Tony
Link no workie. Had this bookmarked for years and it dropped off about 3 months ago. Got a fresh link or a file you can send? Terry
It looks more like a Chevy W manifold than anything else (C68), but look at the port opening to the head, and the end water connections.
Thanks for the info so far It is a for sure SBC intake it must be the SBC version of the C68 W head as shown above someone has already sanded it and started to polish it. I was just wondering about when it was made. I was hoping it would be like a late fifties intake. I know I got a really good deal on it. I was just wondering value wise for trade purposes more than anything or I'll keep it for a future project
Its the x- c6? intake on the site. A local in Omaha has the same intake sitting on his bench with the same numbers, smallblock chevy.Sorry the link i posted didnt take but sombody else got it to.
It's the only one listed for a 265-283 (they didn't list the 327?) in my 1963 Big Eds Speed shop catalog. It says that it's drilled for the 3 bolt carbs but can be special ordered with a 4 bolt pattern at no extra cost.
