anyone know any history of this MN shoebox?

No pic last time.... so Im looking for help tracking down info on this car... its from the Minneapolis area and this photo was taken in 2008... what Im looking for is info prior to 2008.. at that time (in the pic).. it has been pieced together from two cars, has an unfinished junk yard 302 installation in it, a GM colmn.. its always been in MN as far as I know, perhaps from around Hastings.... I would think the goofy flames would be an easy way to recognize it??? so, who was building this car in 2007 and before? .... any info at all would be appreciated, and perhaps even rewarded

who could have done those flames?? and where did the rest of the car they came off of go??

Thought Id bring this back to the top... Really trying to find info about this car... Give me an owners name from before 2008 and if it checks out, I'll send you an Allison design Tshirt for your trouble the car is from the twin cities MN area.

Thought I would bring this to the top one last time... the only history I know is that it was in this condition in 2008 and came from the Hastings MN area maybe... in this picture, it has a 302 ford in it, a gross GM colmn, power brake booster ect... I dont think it was ever on the road like this though.... prior to this the car had been customized a little, had some chrome removed, the quarters welded up and a few repaints... its fairly rust free so may have been sitting for some time out of the whether... the car was being worked on shortly before this time but was sold in 2008 so it may have been listed for sale somewhere in the area, in this condition... I am trying to find leads as to who had it or where it was while in this condition, in 2008.
or any other ideas how I might figure this out?

Have you asked Titus? I can't imagine he doesn't know about every old car in central Minnesota.

 

Ya, I asked him... In fact I bought it from him. He doesnt remember where it came from or who owned it though... I figured the next best place to look would be here, or maybe through the MSRA?

 

You might PM Paso John. He has been into the rod & kustom scene for quite a long time up in Minnesnowta. Grew up there. He has a sharp memory and a knack for remembering cars and people..........E

 

this is what the car currently looks like... much much better, but no help in tracking down an old owner or information.
