Hot Rods Anyone know anything about this 32 5 Window?

Found this car pic in a few places on line. Kinda doing my build in the same theme as this car. They refer to it as " Bad Ass" 32 Anyone know more details or info about the car?

 

Can't help you out with any information on it. But sure is Bad Ass looking. Guess that is how it got it's name.

That chop would be like riding around in a really wide full face helmet lol, but like any thing ... if you drive the shit out of it enough you'd be used to lookin out of a mail slot lmao

 

I'm pretty sure that is the car that inspired Brian Darwas to build his and I'm pretty sure I saw a documentary YouTube? on Brian talking about that car. Although I could be totally wrong

I read somewhere that this picture was taken at Bakersfield in 58. I have had it saved for a long time along with this 34 5W picture that looks like it was taken at the same time. Not much else to add except they are cool. But that's a given. My inspiration.

Just went for a ride in the Chemical City Coupe last Saturday. The windshield is small but it wasn't a pain to look out of. It truly is "Bad Ass".
