looks like the tank was changed, but '28-'29s had the DOM stamped into the tank face... day/month/year... about 6" from the left and about 1" above the mounting flange... a replaced tank pooches that idea,,,
Nice 'A' bone. Chop a '30-'31, the '28-'29s have that 'Cinderella pre-pumpkin' character, shame to chop them... Exaggerated rubber rake, front tires perfectly fit up in those graceful fenders...large rears just radiused in the fenders, that would be "the LOOK"! Gads, I love those '28-9 sedans!
I go up past Dragway 42 quite regularly. My GF's family has the farm right across the road in the back (not 42). I can sit on the back porch of the farmhouse and hear the music of cars going down the track quite clearly. There is nothing left of the old track - it was all "recently" ripped up, and redone, putting the starting line at the back of the facility instead of out at 42 like it was, and twisting the track at an angle to the road. Lots of potentials there if they can keep the momentum and keep growing the facility. Beyond that - I have nothing on the car. Good luck with it.
