Anyone know of a good body man / painter in Seattle?

  1. Howdy, Many of you have probably seen my post asking about MAACO paint jobs. Thanks for all of your input.

I have decided to spend a little more on a good, solid paint job and have something to be proud of. Does anyone know of a good shop in Seattle w/ fare rates?

Thanks and I sure appreciate it,
    Anthony

  2. Finding someone who likes to do quality work will be the hardest thing you do.In the day and age of rush rush rush in the paint and body field, its hard to get anyone to pay the price for quality.Remember this, the bitterness of poor quality remains LONG after the sweetness of low price is gone.Your about to venture into one of your biggest investments in your car,if you have to borrow money to have it done right the first time,DO IT!!!No one likes re-doing someones half *** bodywork, plus by the time its done twice, its usually close to twice what it would have been for the high end paint job in the first place.Good luck in your search. If you have any questions, just ask.

I have seen some nice work come out of a little shop in West Seattle, I think it's on Alaska and a couple blocks West of 35th.

I have never used them, or anyone else for that matter, I'm way to cheap, I'd rather buy the tools and equipment and try it myself.
