Your two days too late. On Saturday we went to this awesome yard in KY that had about 500 cars and was non-operational. We got in cuz of a friend of a friend kind of thing. The old lady that still lives there just said pay her whatever we thought was fair for whatever we took. Needless to say happy campers all around. (IE: she was thrilled with what we gave her) Unfortunantly I didn't know this last week or I would have looked for you. I would suggest putting a WTB in the classified section. Enjenjo in OH hits ALOT of yards and is always finding odd bits for folks.
Give Bob Jensen a call at B&R Old Car Parts in Ogden Ut, 801-399-5203. He's not around very often, but i know for sure they have 3 or 4 '49 fords in there yard...i don't know if there 2 or 4 door or even the exact model of them. Hope this might help ya a bit.
When I did my shoebox, some bows were missing. We made our own, from 3/8" steel rod. They are not hard.Sparky
Kustom o1, I am parting out a 51 two door sedan now, not sure if they are the same as a coupe.I will check and see if they are there. Let me know if your interested, they will be priced right.
I have a friend named Jim in Gainesville TX. that will have a set he has several club coupes and several 2 dr and 4 dr. Call him at 940-665-1112 and tell him Charlie in Austin sent you.
