Anyone know Sam Moon aka Moon Man?

Anybody familiar with Sam Moon, aka Moon man, an Alliance member with 500 posts?

Paid for a set of flathead manifolds on 02/23/2009 and as of 04/07/2009 still not received. Last contact was 03/23/09 where I was told they were sent to the wrong address, this followed the prior email I got that he had been sick for a week. (have all documentation)

Payment was sent to: Jessamyn Nalepa.

Would appreciate any information before I have to track him down.

Another week and still no manifolds. Now Sam has over 500 posts and 31 friends. Does anyone on this site think its right for him to stiff another person, take their money and not send the item?

Sam's excuses in order are:

1) I have been sick

2) i accidentally mailed it to myself,

3) I have been indisposed for several weeks.

I have full documentation on everything-

So if you are a friend of Sam's, you should message him. Unless you think its OK for him to scam someone. And btw, I will go after him, even though the amount is only $60 to save one of you guys from being the next one to be scammed.

Until then I remain Scammed by Sam

He has a hot rod shop and a lot of excuses. If your wife paid for something and he took her money and gave her a lame excuse and didnt give her her merchandise for nearly 8 weeks? Bingo- Same guy.

I too have issues with moon man, with just about the same timeline you have indicated. I have sent you a PM outlining the issue.

I have also Sent Ryan a PM outlining my issues, and have filed a complaint with paypal, and am doing everything in my power to resolve the situation.

Grumpy, I also sent you a PM, maybe you could help us both out.

 

I had similar problems, and he used the same bullshit excuses. He did final refund my payment after months. I don't think he is out to screw anyone, just not responsive. Get your money back, if you can, move on. Also PM Ryan.

sam moon here, I never ment to screw anyone. if u guys want to take a walk in my shoes or bee in the same boat I have been bee my guest. I have talked to all and told my side, I love the hamb and never ment or intended to take a long time or to screw anyone. and all I can say is marylandmuscle must have a bunch of free time and I think he is a little to extreme!!!!!!!!! Moon man, It's one thing to apologize and another thing to do the right thing and either get these folks their parts or money back to them right away.

 

"Walking in your shoes" means screwing people on parts...no excuses!

 

Sounds like bullshit to me. I can see something happening and one guy not getting his parts, but all these guy's not getting them?? C'mon man, step up and send these guys their parts. Why even attempt to sell parts if you aren't in a position to ship them?

Mr. Moon has PM'd me and asked me to change my signature, and has also stated that I caused a lot of grief for him. I told him, no spologies, no "now Sam is a good guy crap", and no changes to my signature or anything else until he takes care of all the people he took advantage of. Sam is NOT a victim.

Taking peoples money and not shipping what was agreed upon is THEFT pure and simple.

I will only state that Sam has finally shipped when he finally does- he will get nothing else from me.

He must accept the consequences from his actions.

I had a kustom painted skate deck for sale awhile back. He pm'd me and said he wanted to buy it. After hanging on to the deck for over 3 weeks for him and turning down other buyers I had to relist it. I got lots of excuses and jerking around from him. I would definetly avoid selling or buying from this dude.

 

Sam I looked again at your post and not once did you say that your sending out the parts or giving a full refund to all those you have taken money from!So whats the deal are you going to do?

 

I sent pm,s to all. l.. everone will get there things or a refund so dont worry everone will be taken care of. not out to get or screw anyone. and agin if you are involved you would know.....

 

Still am waiting on a positive resoultion of my dealings with Sam. Once I have recieved either a refund or transmission, I will post that the transaction has been completed. I am still waiting.

 

i had a run in with moon man, he was selling a posie rear model a spring for 125.00. i paid paypal immediately along with 50.00 to ship, i got the run around about i shipped it to the wrong place, then he was sick, then he was out of town. after about 6 weeks he told me he sent the spring and if i wanted my money back he would refund it, but i had to agree to send the spring back to him when i recieved it. i replied paypal my money back and forget the deal. he did paypal me my money back about a week later, and needless to say i never recieved the spring (he already shipped), so i could send it back to him. there may be a chance for you guys but do not hold your breath. i would consider myself lucky. i can give you my opinion: DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY.

 

Interesting thats he's an Alliance member with nearly 500 posts-If he's engaged in this type of behavior on a regular basis (seems he has), I am surprised the HAMB doesnt revoke his membership and ban him from the site-seems like a lot of users have had problems with him.

I'll either receive my manifolds, get my money back or go after he and Jessamyn Nalepa (she collects direct payments for him).

If anyone needs info on him, PM me- You'd be amazed at what I have collected on him in a few days.

I don't suppose Mr. Moon knows Joseph Grey, does he? Marylandmuscle....if you have some advice for those of us dealing with Mr. Grey I'd love to hear it. The HAMB is too cool for guys like this.

 

all was returned and refounded all 4... I read about joe and see never once did see Marylandmuscle try to help there ,, and have herd nothen else from him... and no I dont deal with mr grey...

 

I did recieve my refund from Moon man last friday, just waiting for it to clear through paypal, once it does I was going to post here, but to concur with moonman, I did recieve my refund, just waiting for it to clear for it to be official, due to paypal waiting periods... I regret it took as long as it did, but am pleased that the issue between us is resolved.

 

Well Sam have been out of town on business so havent had a chance to notify everyone that as of 04/22/09 I STILL DONT HAVE THE DAMN MANIFOLDS.

 

And by the way as I promised I will say nothing favorable about you, you took my money and that of others, you provided multiple bogus excuses, you would not respond to calls, and when I finally tracked you down through your father, you said you didnt even have the $15 to ship the manifolds.

Do not try to act like the victim- You are so very close to having been turned into IC3, the Cortland Ohio PD, and USPS for Mail Fraud- I was dealing with an attorney on a subpoena last week and you are quite fortunate that I chose to withhold discussion of you for a few days.

Adavis, I will contact you directly to assist regarding Joseph Grey.

Stay humble Sam, attitude will get my attention, and trust me you really dont want that.
