Anyone know what this is?

Anyone know what this six ****on unit was originally used for? It is marked "Ford Safety Package."
Was it a power window kit or something to do with the radio or something obscure?
The photo is from late 1966 and yes that is George Barris and the Batmobile.

HUH?,Batmobile threads don't have a long life on the Hamb ,a concept car so probably no one knows,,

Even though that six ****on dash was before humanity developed a full appreciation for the Theory of Relativity, Ford was (and is) so advanced that they were already incorporating controls to handle unexpected asetroid impacts with earth or other unpredicted apocolyptic episodes. Thanks, Henry.

I really like how the "secret area" is labled. Maybe its just to draw your attention from the real secret area.

I'd imagine the "Ford Safety Package" is a left-over from the Futura Concept Car that the batmobile was made from. I'd suspect that there's something written about it in the Futura literature...

It's like the microwave oven in my kitchen where I put a sticker on the timer ****on that says "countdown to destiny" ...and many mornings when my kids are microwaving their pop tarts or bacon, egg, and cheese sambos for breakfast since mom is sleeping in late, they ask me "dad, what's destiny" and I can't tell them since all I can think of is that hot chick.
