I'm currently talking to one of the founders of this old club and the person would be interested in aquiring one of the plaques for Prowlers C.C.-Fontana

Call O'Brien Truckers, or PM 59BuickWagon (they're the same guy and have THOUSANDS of plaque masters).

  6. I have three Prowlers patterns so far - one each from Seattle, Keystone and Summit Illinois - but no Fontana.

Actually, out of 9,000 patterns that I've cataloged to date (still have ~2000 more to do) I do not have any with Fontana on them. Makes you wonder what the town of Fontana was like back in the 50/6-'s when all these patterns were made???

From what my uncle and grandfather told me as well as many older rodders,it was a big cruising and racing spot due to Rte. 66 running right through Fontana..

I lived there for many years and never heard that club name mentioned by any of the old time hot rod thugs in the area of which there were many. There was a reason Fontana was known as
    "Felony Flats".

Orange Way & Citrus is definitetly Felony Flats. I lived about two blocks from there back in the day. I finally moved after being burglaized 3 times and every thing I had of value was either stolen or in storage to keep from getting it stolen.
I live in Redlands near the Ford st. off ramp from the 10. Much easier to sleep there than Fontana without all the gunshots and PD helicopters at 2am:eek:

I meant I'm going to be off of Orange and Citrus in Redlands tonight...Yeah,Redlands is cakewalk compared to most of Fontana...I had to walk from the south end of Slover Ave. to the North end of Colton when I was 18 once...Longest and most paranoid walk ever, considering it was 2 AM
