Good afternoon: I hope it is ok if I post this question here! I am in Richmond, TX (Southwest Houston) and looking to purchase a cool classic in Georgetown, TX (north Austin), which is about 180 miles from where I live. I went to look at it this weekend and all is good. Made the deal! Great. But, even though it is in good shape, runs well and all, it is not practical to drive back home, and I would prefer to trailer it (flatbed if possible as it has narrow wheelbase). Well, I do not have a trailer/nor flatbed, so I am turning onto the forum here (Austin folks) to see if someone could help out (I will cover all the expenses) or knows someone or a decent local company that can. Again, the car is in Georgetown, TX and the distant will be around 180 miles to Houston, TX. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, M.
The rental yards around here will rent the truck and trailer. Have you looked into that? Seems like it would just be one day rental.
