Anyone "lead" any more ???

    Yup , I've done plenty of leadwork over the last 20 years I've been restoring vintage British cars full time . Lots of lead on 'em ! I've done lead on some other stuff as well , and I've got a ton more lead to sling on my Shoebox till it's done . I may even toss a video up on that YouTube thingy one of these days . There's already plenty of 'em though - don't know if they need mine too , lol !

    I've never tried the non-lead lead stuff that Eastwood sells , don't believe I ever will to be honest . The real stuff works well enough & I'm too stubborn to try to relearn the skill (ha ha) . I've used both propane and acetelene , and they both work well . There's a special adapter you can get for your acetelene tip that makes it a nice , soft flame - I recommend that , if you want to go that route . If not , a propane torch with a flexible tube works pretty brill .

    It's not that hard to do and I recommend everyone give it a try, you'll be glad you did.
