Forgive me if the details are a little vague, but have a history making hot rod project quickly coming together that may have an opening for the right person to be in the drivers seat. What we can say, it will involve a traditional hot rod build, you will get to be a part of a story that includes input from decades of hot rod innovators, your input will be included and at the end you can own one very cool and hopefully important traditional hot rod. Contact me if you or someone you know has been seriously considering a new hot rod build and looking for something exciting to get the ball rolling. More details can unfold as the project moves a long and should be EXACTLY the type of thing anyone addicted to the HAMB will enjoy. Thanks in advance, Jim
As I said- details are a little under wraps, but think of something that would be at home coming out of Tardel's or Brizio's shop as far as style.
Nope- that and driving long distance always has me more revved up than ever once it's over! I'd rather do just about anything than lay in a hospital bed with a bunch of needles in both arms and a buzzer that goes off if you move or bend them! Had enough of Hospitals again for a while- let's build some HOT RODS!!!
Are you looking for someone to become financially involved (as in paying for the project and becoming the eventual owner)? If so your going to have to reveal a target $$$ amount before anyone will comit. Frank
Are you looking simply for input, or financing and input? Because I've got design style that my wallet will never afford, and attention to detail is kind of my niche...I've always thought that hardware, mounts and minute details deserve style as much as wheel/tire combo and paint decisions...
Hey, Jim- You looking for a builder to host and build, pick up the tab, etc? What kind of time frame/budget are we talking here? 'Cause I'm up to my**** in alligators, but can't say no to an interesting project. I would be more available in a couple months, after I stuff an SBC into an Alfa Romeo for a client. Keep me in mind, and let me know what details you can. Will I see you on the 10th on Van Nuys Blvd?
...........or are you looking for a private guy who's already got a start on a 34 five window that would love to help/see it built?
Does it require being local? I'm more than interested in designing components and throwing ideas to people...
I'm down, throw me some info when you get a chance...I have a few ideas I've been dying to try out for years, like chromed flush mount front engine mounts that use minimal hardware...I'd be happy to help in any way I can...
Another odd idea was the parallel leaf spring front axle shackle mounts I used on my '31 Plymouth that capped the front of my tapered 2x3 tube framerails using a Mopar drop center tube axle...just something I did when I was bored in the garage...
