Anyone n Nor Cal know how to chop cars?

  1. I have my 49 GMC truck and i have been wanting to chop it. I really want to learn and i have beentold tey are easy. If anyone around here know how and is willing to help, ill pay. I cant afford the cost of shops. But i have seen here that you gues get together and do projects. But ill supply the food, the beer and what ever else you guys want. I just really want to learn. I know this is asking alot. But let me know what you think.
    Details on the Truck
    1949 GMC 1/2 ton
    3 window cab.
    no wing windows.

    No, the anchient art of chopping was never tought to those north of Lompoc...

    There are legends telling of a young master.... chopper named Cole. But this is the stuff of myth and fantasy...
     
  3. I talked to Cole on the phone yesterday. Really nice guy. Im planning on checking out his shop this weekend. I cant wait to see his cars. He told me a few things about chopping it. The problem is i dont have a tig welder, and like i told him, Im better with a grinder than i am with a welder.

    i'd recommend you pm killer and see if there's going to be a hambchop this year. if there is maybe you can be the chopee.
