I built a Keg-o-rator out of a 60's GE refrigerator. I need some striping on it. Anyone out there wanna help me out? I got beer and a little cash. I'm in woodstock. MIke
I was thinking about repainting it the same color but with a flake. I also need to find something to finish the bottom with that would look cool.
you will want too cut an air cleaner or headlite bucket in half long ways and bolt it under the tap for the sloopy friends...then run a tube inside too a catch can....no sence waisting
If you have a way to haul it. Load it up and carry it to Sam aka as Pinstriper on the hamb. He has done my striping and lettering over 20 yrs. He is in Birmingham alabama his shop is Rocco and Cheaters speed shop. The tele no is 205 328 5141.
I actually have a drip pan for it but I think it looks better without it. I don't mind if a little beer gets spilled on the garage floor but if it gets too bad I may go ahead and put the pan on. I like the idea of headlight bucket or maybe I could use an old hub cap. Mike
Thanks for the Contact. I hope there is someone in the ATL area that can do this though. B-ham would be a long haul just for some striping on my refrigerator.
There are a couple of guys on this side of town. Tony Davis Signs in Lawrenceville and Signs by Lance, I think he's in Monroe. Tony striped and lettered my coupe a couple of times, he's been around for 30+ years. Lance does excellent work from what I'm told but I've never met him. Tony could probably email some samples of his work so you're comfortable with his style before commiting to anything. I can dig up a number if you can't find him in the phone book.
Jamie, or metalflake60, he'd hook you up, also there is tophat, kinda a weird old guy, but he did my car at dixiefried
