anyone no the proper petal ajustment on a 50 chevy clutch .ive got about a inch of play befor my t/o/b bearing hit the presser plate. and im getting some chattering and also now a little grinding.but i think the grinding is the t/o/b shifting around from the play. all outher gears sound fine and reverse is the one making noise.its about 1 and 5 times i reverse. or when i let the clutch out and push back in it starts grinding grinding .anyone had this problem b4.and whats the right petal ajustment of free play if there is any.oh it just the stock 3 speed thanx kyle

your clutch pedal free play sounds about right, don't have the specs in front of me, but the grinding and other oises sound like clutch disc or transmission noise.

ok thanx jerry .also when i had the inspection plat off everthing looks good and tight .and when all for wheels are off the ground it makes no noises .and it only when i flair the clutch in reverse .all other gears sound good and it only makes the noise when its on the ground not up in the air
