Technical Anyone recall a lift that you use a floor jack with?

With adjustable length and width, and 5,000lbs capacity, the Kwik-Lift works great for vehicles of all size

 

A friend of mine has a Kiwk Lift and he likes it. Safely gets the vehicle a little higher then then jack stands, of course the draw back is the wheels are still on. But still great for a lot of tasks. He bought his used and called me about one he found for sale for $850. I think they are great for those who don’t have the height or dollars for a regular lift.

 

I have a Kiwk Lift and its been great. Although they can be folded flat I usually just leave it ramp down and park on it with the front wheels and keep the rears on the floor. Mine included the heavy cross bridge that spans the ramps to give you a base to use a jack on. Then you can remove the wheels.

one of those Kwiklifts came up on Wisconsin cl. for $650 a few days ago.

 

I just moved one for sale into the antiquated classifieds from the parts for sale.

 

Thanks gents, but I’d imaging having one shipped from those places would make a decent dent into a normal lift.
But what I really wanted it for was an OT car to pull a transmission, but found out there’s another way to get it done.
I’ll kinda steal the Kiel-lift idea and make one up for doing oil changes. Be a good Fall project as it cools down.

 

This works for me. Lifted it high enough with one shot to slide my platforms under. The front is on jack stands with the wheels off…

 

I have one. Got it from a co-workers dad. Most of the time I use it as a frame / assembly table to disassemble / build rollers upon. Seems to be the perfect height for that sort of thing.

 

I was out looking at what's left of a doublewide mobile home frame that I cut up and hauled for scrap a few years ago. I was a bit dumb in not thinking about using any of it and hauled the long straight pieces for scrap in the first load and hauled the second one home when the first load didn't pay for the gas my truck used to get there. I've got plenty of short ramps to drive on but with low cars that is a pain in th butt.

 

My “Holiday Inn Express” engineering degree is making a plan. I’ll make one up. I’ll even post pics for ridicule
