History Anyone recognize these Model A's ??

    These our my favorite Model A's can anyone tell me what magazines they were in ? The Russ Meeks A was in Hot Rod Oct. 1966 but the Davies A coupe and the flaked truck I can't find

    Any other history, info and pictures would be appreciated.

    You would probably have to look in car show coverage from the mid/late 60's for the truck. The Coupe came out in a magazine right about the time I graduated from high scoool but I don't remember much about it. Russ showed the A all over the west coast and maybe further in that era. I think one of his family is on here and may add some info.

    Lil' Conqueror and Li' Confusion showed together in Portland .It was neat to see two Tudors the same only different. As much as I loved mine ,I loved Russ'
     
  5. Those are some of my favorite A's too, especially the gold flake truck. I think I have the magazine(s) the truck was in, there was a feature when the wheels were raw, then another feature with the fully polished wheels as shown.

    I heard it changed hands after Russ sold it to Dick bouthillier and Dick sold it to some one in Arizona or new Mexico and nobodys ever seen it since.
