Technical Anyone running a 12v AC system.

Great write up. The advertised distance for an EV vehicle might be 300 miles but with the AC on*****ing needed power for that distance. . . not as much.

There’s 4-6 trucks in the yard at work that are electric, they use them to move the 53 foot trailers around with. All have ac/heat. Next time I spot the vender servicing them, I’ll see if he can give me a run down. Then cabs are pretty small in size, maybe even less room tgan a cab over tractor.

 

That has about half the BTU's needed to cool a car. Also only one cold air duct, most cars have 3 or 4 ducts blowing cold air.
