Just an idea, nothing is for sure yet. I have about 8 billion little things I need to get done, and I really want to have it running in time for the Road Rockets show. I don't have a whole lot of room, I have a tiny garage, but it would be pretty fun. I have plenty of floor space if people want to crash here for the night. I don't think it's really worth driving too far for, but I think there's enough to do to keep a few of us occupied. Stuff I need to do (no particular order): Wiring (as long as the kit gets here this week) Finish fab work on dashboard Install wood for the top kit. I'm clueless about this, so any help would be awesome. Tweak the body work on the passenger door Throttle linkage (as long as Paul and I can get the intake reworked) Chop and mount the windsheild frame Install back brakes and bleed brakes. Drum balance weight needs clearanced and have drum re-balanced if anyone has a bubble balancer. Modify tail light stands and mount lights. Make a stand for the oil fill/mount oil fiter to the frame and run lines. Drink beverage of choice. I'll buy pizzas or something too. How can you resist this face?
I'm doing the same thing - even took an extra day off so I'll have (hopefully) 4 days to work on the Merc.
Yeah, I'm pondering taking Friday off, especially if I am having people coming over this weekend so I have time to get ready.
i'm available saturday afternoon. do you need any heckling? 'cause i'm good for that. how about tools, do you need anything special for the wood kit? what's indiana pizza like? i hope it's better than champaign pizza!
I think Saturday would be a good day to gather. I'm taking Thursday and Friday off if anyone is in the area and wants to drop by.
