Anyone use Dynamat Extreme for cooling?

Anyone use Dynamat Extreme for cooling, especially behind the firewall?
Does it work? I've read that most people use it for sound damping.

 

i didnt, i have it on my roof and firewall in my wagon more for noise but i took my wagon to work a few weeks ago and here in Australia we had a bit of a heat wave week goin on and i found that after the car sat all day in extreme heat it wasnt really that hot inside where as with my normal daily i have to open up the car or run the AC for 5 minutes before i can get in.
I figured the foil backing might have been part of the reason the car stays cool inside.

 

Used it on my firewall and front part of floor,worked great ! Stays cool,also great for the sound .
