Ive had good luck with the ebay aluminum radiators. make sure they are welded and made in USA. less than $300.

  2. This is going to make everyone laugh but I have a radiator from a '61 Jeep pickup that fits perfectly in a stock '27 T grill. I don't think that it is the later model car that was the intention of the thread but for a '27 it would count as later model. I don't remember if it is 3 or 4 core but I know that it would cool an average small block anything and I wouldn't be afraid to put it behind a stockish nail head or Rocket.

I'm going to order a Custom Auto Radiator for my Avatar in the next couple of weeks. 2 guys in the club have used them in more than one car and highly recommend them. CAR will do changes to suit your needs.

I would go with the Walker radiator. Remember you are going to tow a trailer. You will need a heavier radiator.

If you have an automatic, I've learned that a lot of those cheap eBay radiators simply use a tube as the transmission cooler instead of a plate type cooler. Also, they'll pitch a 3 row but don't tell you the tube size. I inquired about one and the three row used 0.6 in tubes wheres most of the quality radiators use two 1.0 or 1.25 tubes.

OK fellas, I just choked it down and bought a Walker. I just needed to know that I wouldn't be stranded out in the boondocks somewhere. The 10 year warranty was pretty convincing. Thanks for the input.
