  1. Jake, by coincidence I was admiring your "floor" at the Pileup.

    ha ha- thanks!
I was hoping people wouldn't look past the dash, though- which my friend Craig (Cas) helped me with. I have to give credit to Bob, for bending that speed limit sign.. I mean who would have ever guessed that Bob's legs are the perfect size for driveshaft tunnels!

Each time I work on my roadster it becomes a lot less shitty, and leans more towards a hot rod than... well, you get the idea.

At this construction company I worked at, they had stacks of old yellow construction signs. Seems they had to retire them when the feds switched to orange as the official color. I gots one in my shop.

    I love it!

I went through a "Kelvinator Phase" where I made all my floorboards out of Kelvinator washer and dryer covers - in fact my '55 Chevy 2-door still has a couple of them in the rear seat floors. Kelvinator made quality sheet metal, heavy enamel on both sides - and any color you wanted as long as it was white!

Oh, yeah, the posts they used on some of those roadsigns are sweet! I've got a couple around somewhere - real high quality steel, like them Kelvnator appliance covers...

i don't know if any one has tried it, but 1/4 oil drums should make a good drive shaft tunnel. I almost made the gas tank for my T out of one. We are going to make one into a BBQ for the back of my friends '57 Chevy Truck.

here is an old one...do any of you remember the story of "the cyclops" from road and track (way the f*ck back)...

I know a guy that used part of a steel scoop shovel in his firewall to make head clearence for the big ass motor in a cool 55 chev. If you did not know about it you could not tell
