Just showing us this and the other pic on the RCN thread is worse that wearing a raincoat in the shower.
ok i lied, this is the swap area from the hot rod reunion, you know you can see closeups of all the cars, at DON"S HOT ROD PAGE next week anyway!!!
Geez IF you saw one gazillionth of that stuff in OZ you'd have had a good day, but to see it all in one meet on one day - it must be heaven!!! Lucky********s.
ANyone know how much the 57 vette was. I would love to make a 60's style hotrod out of one of those. Then take it to corvette shows and make the "VETTE-SET" cringe. And then tell them I put the origanal engine from the vette in my 32 ford.
Geeez, Rudy....not another 32 Ford with a "Vette Motor"!! Ha Ha, love the early Vette gasser plan, though...that's how them cars are supposed to look!
[ QUOTE ] No, heaven would be if you could afford it..... [/ QUOTE ] I agree, it's just plain hell when you can't afford any of it. That's why I quit going to every swap meet even though I can practically walk to the LongBeach Meet. Just the admission price makes my***** pinch, forget the parts prices. I haven't seen a "deal" there in a decade, and haven't been in about a year. Get better deals actually 'swapping" parts with you guys!
thevette on the trailer was not for sale. the owner was looking for anyone with some history on the car. a really neat piece of history! still trying to recaver from the weekend! even went over to el mirage and gotto see the "THING" of gene winfield's make a pass down the lake! jerry
A buddy of mine has a '59 Vette that was a drag car he is putting on the street. The original owner bought it brand new and turned it into a drag car. My buddy bought it in '64 and ran it for several years then parked it in a barn. This will be the first time it has ever been licensed for the street. Pretty cool, huh?
