Does your 265 have the oil filter boss or is it external? I'm just wondering if it's all 265s with the external filter or just the very early ones.
I think Speedway sells an adapter for starter. Good point re 265 no side mounts. That is a long way between front mounts on 265 & rear mount on newer trans. I have run cars set up this way with no problem but wouldn't do it now. But I still see that setup on a regular basis. Tyler, point well taken!!!
Regarding mounting the 350 Turbo in place of the PG, Classic Chevy International (CCI) sells a mount kit that bolts to the 350 Turbo bellhousing using the lower two bolt holes on each side and then bolts right up to the original mounting area on the frame. More at www.classicchevy.com Max
man am i glad i opened this post.i knew the motor mounts were different,but never even thought about the starter.i had a line on one through my dad i'll have to keep this info in mind..thanks dude.....oh yea,hey outlaw,you can go ahead and say iLOADdelivery alotta guys already know who the asshole is,apparently he's more concerned with number of post than anything else....the dick.....
