Technical AOD Transmission Help

    Also, there is a spring on the levers inside the trans that preloads the throttle valve. You may be fighting that. Disconnect the cable and push the lever all the way off. See what the pressure is.

    I always install a B&M shift kit in all of my AOD installs. Sounds like a valve body gasket leak.

    I will add that on my first AOD I drove it around a few blocks several times sorting it out. Did not hurt it a bit. Have you checked your fluid level warm and idling in park?
